A Leader Who Listens

The National Rifle Association Political Victory Fund (NRA-PVF) awarded LA Senate District 51 candidate Beryl Amedee an AQ rating. An “AQ” is reserved for a pro-gun candidate whose rating is based on pro-gun responses to the NRA-PVF Candidate Questionnaire and is the highest rating a candidate can receive without a previous voting record on Second Amendment issues.

“As a longtime supporter of second amendment rights, I’m honored to receive this rating from the NRA,” said Amedee. “The Second Amendment protections we enjoy as Americans are extremely important to me and to Louisianians. I will always stand up to defend our right to bear arms.”

Tara Reilly Mica, NRA State Liaison, said, “On behalf of our members in Louisiana House District 51, the National Rifle Association Political Victory Fund is proud to announce Beryl Amedee’s AQ Rating for the October primary.”

Amedee faces incumbent Joe Harrison on October 24th.
